Executive Chef

Salary: To be discuss
*Manage all functions of the Food Production and Stewarding operations to achieve the optimum departmental profit.
*Work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage with regards to the annual budget plan preparation and implementation.
*Participate in the creation and successful implementation of the hotel’s revenue plan and marketing programs.
*Responsible for departmental Profit & Loss management.
*Train, guide and mentor team members, ensuring a highly engaged working environment at all times.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
*Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar management role, preferably in the luxury hospitality environment.
*International experience is preferred
*English – excellent oral and written skills
*Outstanding knowledge of food safety regulations
*Ability to effectively manage a team
*Ability to work independently, thrive under pressure in challenging circumstances and come up with proactive, rational solutions
*Ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients / vendors
*Excellent organizational and time management skills
*Be knowledgeable of sales, marketing & promotional practices
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office
