Kitchen Steward

Salary: To be discuss

*Operates Kitchen Equipment with good sanitary standards.
*Displays proper methods and stocking procedure of all utensils and items in the Food & Beverage Operations.
*Reports any required repairs to Chef in Charge for preventive maintenance.
*Ensures cleanliness of all facilities and equipment in the Food & Beverage area.
*Maintains Company safety and hygiene standard in the operation.
*Controls and maintains on an ongoing basis, quality level of service i.e. Sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene.
*Assists delivers of food to staff cafeteria on timely basis to cover all meal times as assigned.
*Uses only the correct cleaning materials in the correct manner and always using the correct safety equipment when using chemicals.
*Aware of and adhere to the various laws relating to food handling, storage, preparation, cooking, and service.
*Maintains a high standard of hygiene and grooming, clean uniform, name badge, black shoes, black clean socks, neat hair, clean-shaven, clean hands, and short fingernails, as per standard.

*Follows timekeeping procedures, has to be present 10 minutes before scheduled starting time, on request – work split shift, work any days including weekends and public holidays and do overtime as requested in accordance with H.R. policies.
*Be familiar with the company’s fire evacuation and emergency policies and procedures, especially in regard to your workplace.
*Handles company assets and all equipment with the utmost care and maintains in the best condition.
*Well verse of the operational procedures of machineries / equipment concerning the cleaning / washing / steaming.
*Knows how to clean equipment / fixtures in the kitchen, service area, food outlets and back area.
*Fully aware of chemical usage on different equipment and kitchenware.
*Bachelor graduate in relevance course is an advantage
*2 years experience in Kitchen
*Good communication skill verbal and written
*Willing to learn from others
